GCash’s separately issued zero-tolerance policy toward illegal gambling operators comes alongside a report of roughly 3,200 merchants blocked for QR-system abuse that funneled users to illegal gambling and scam sites. That whole set of measures holds back illegal-gambling-linked merchants alongside in-app gaming top-ups. Nothing here says GCash is allowed to fund a licensed casino’s cashier, and nothing here says it is disallowed.

Verification tiers

• Basic — Paying a bill, buying load, putting cash in, or scanning to pay, each one works PHP 10,000 bounds the wallet while PHP 5,000 covers both monthly in and monthly out, with the daily cap left unstated
• GCash Jr. — The Basic feature set is what a 7-to-17-year-old user gets Capped at PHP 50,000 for the wallet itself, PHP 10,000 monthly for what comes in, and PHP 10,000 for what goes out, both daily and monthly
• Fully Verified — From here you gain access to bank transfer, pay online, send money, the GCash card, plus GSave, GInvest, GInsure, GLife and Borrow. PHP 100,000 governs the wallet, another PHP 100,000 governs what arrives monthly, and a further PHP 100,000 governs what leaves daily, with no ceiling on monthly outflow
• GCash Plus — Fully Verified status paired with a linked bank or investment account brings access to this tier PHP 500,000 caps the wallet and the monthly inflow alike, while daily outflow is capped lower, at PHP 100,000
• GCash Platinum — Eligible Globe Platinum subscribers only. PHP 1,000,000 bounds the wallet, matched by PHP 1,000,000 monthly inflow and PHP 1,000,000 monthly outflow, with PHP 500,000 as the daily outflow limit
